Instructions for using the online registration system

To register:

  1. Access the ESD website at http://www.ttac.odu.edu/esd
  2. Click on the calendar on the top tool bar of the home page.
  3. Click here to access our online, interactive calendar.
  4. Click on the month of the training session you would like to attend.
  5. Click on the date of the training session. (R=region)
  6.  When registering, please enter complete information.

To confirm your (team’s) registration:
The Point of Contact (first person who registered) will receive an email from the ‘ttac_calendar@odu.edu” asking you to confirm your (team’s) registration.  To confirm the registration, you must do this step!  If the hyperlink is not active in the email, please copy and paste the entire hyperlink into your browser.  The hyperlink is unique only to this email address.  This is an Internet safeguard.  For future reference, to edit your registration, please keep this email.

To edit your (team’s) registration:
Note:  The Point of Contact is the only team member who can edit a team’s registration.

  1. Copy and paste the following “helpful hyperlink” into your browser:
    http://www.ttac-odu.org/reg_lost.php

  2. Type in the email of the team’s Point of Contact.
  3. Click ‘search’.
  4. A list of all training sessions for the Point of Contact‘s email will be visible.
  5. Choose the training session for the registration you would like to edit.  Click “Send.”
  6. The Online Automated Registration Program will resend an email with the hyperlink to edit the registration form you selected.   Copy and paste the hyperlink at the bottom of the page into your browser.
  7. You now have access to that particular registration.

If the email address of the Point of Contact when registering and when searching to edit does not match, the program will not recognize the email nor will an email be sent.  Contact the administrator, Pat Woolard, at pwoolard@odu.edu.

What  if . . .
You cannot remember whether or not you registered for an event or who was registered?
Use the “helpful hyperlink” and follow steps 1-6 of the editing instructions to view your team’s registration.

You deleted the “ttac_calendar@odu.edu” email?
 Use the “helpful hyperlink” and follow steps 1-6 of the editing instructions to view your team’s registration.

You would like to add or delete a team member or change their information?
Use the “helpful hyperlink” and follow steps 1-6 of the editing instructions to view your team’s registration.  The Automated Online Registration Program will not send confirmation emails to emails added after the initial submission of the registration.

You cannot remember the “helpful hyperlink”?
Access http://www.ttac.odu.edu  Click on the calendar on the top tool bar.  At the bottom left of the calendar you will see a hyperlink for “Recover Lost Online Registration”.  Click on this item.  It will automatically take you to the helpful hyperlink.

You want to delete an entire registration?
Contact the person who created the registration form or Pat Woolard at pwoolard@odu.edu.  Only the online administrator can delete an entire team’s registration.
